Employers pressured to get more information from health insurers

Health policy groups want employers to get more information about pricing from the insurers that administer their plans and to take other steps to weed out price inefficiency. Total health care spending by employers and workers grew to $5,892 per person in 2018, up 18.4% since 2014, the Health Care Cost Institute found.
