Redbuilt, whose saying on their website is "Peace-of-mind is always top of mind" implemented a unique employee wellness program a few years ago to "empower their associates and help demonstrate their value of work-life balance."
According to Shanna, she has hit the 1,000 point level the last couple of years as "I focused on training for fun runs and took winters off. This year I’m making an effort to strive for the 1,500 point level by keeping my activity level consistently high even in these wet days, and taking credit for some mental wellness activities including reading and family game nights which we expanded the program to include this year.

Health Nut Program
To encourage Associates participation in a regular fitness and wellness lifestyle.
All Associates are eligible to participate in this program.
At set Health Nuts point intervals (5 points per day maximum) Associates become eligible for rewards.
Points are earned for performing a physical or wellness activity listed on the Health Nuts Log (see picture below). Each activity has a time or distance that equates to 1 point. You can earn up to a maximum of 5 points per day, a maximum of 2 of these points can be mental wellness activities. Record your activities on the Health Nuts Log and submit monthly, quarterly or annually, provided it is received no later than January 31st of the following year. The points are counted on a calendar year basis and do not carry over into the following calendar year.
Breaking bad habits and forming better ones is hard to do alone. Teams serving as accountability buddies have much greater success. Thus, we are encouraging forming teams for the 1st quarter of the year to get off on the right foot.
Teams are to have of 3-5 members. All teams that achieve an average of 300 points per person by March 31, 2020 will receive their 300 point prize to proudly proclaim their success. The 3 teams with highest average points per person by March 31, 2020 will also be treated to lunch (there are 455 possible points per person by 3/31 with the leap year). Please submit team names and members to by January 31st. With this goal achieved, participating individuals will also be on course to achieve 1000 points by the end of the year.
