    ISCPA 2021 Breakfast Series - “Emphasis on Essential"

    In a recent study, Harvard University, Boston University and University of Michigan's Ross School of Business collaborated to determine the ROI for soft skills (or as ISCPA likes to call them, Essential Skills). A random group of workers were provided training on a variety of skills such as problem-solving and self-awareness tools. When the results on metrics such as productivity and retention were measured, the training resulted in a staggering 256 percent ROI!

    Kip Spittle

    Kip Spittle

    Kip Spittle was born and raised in Southeastern Wisconsin. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Wisconsin and M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Boise State University.

    He started with Boise State University in 2011 working as a counselor within Student Affairs and most recently took on a familiar career path as an instructional designer and facilitator within the Learning and Organizational Development department.

    His favorite aspect (“why”) of this position is shifting behaviors to a growth mindset for desired outcomes to advance team abilities. Previous to his position at Boise State, Kip worked in the admissions side of education for over a decade.

    Kip and his wife love raising their two young daughters in Boise, where he enjoys the snowboarding and rafting community that are so prominent in Boise.
