Description

Because we live in an ever changing world, resiliency is what allows people to change with it. Learn self-care techniques, resiliency strategies and mindfulness. Leave with tools that help you share these techniques with your peers and how to set your team up for success.

Designed For

From Surviving to Thriving is a great opportunity for ISCPA members to network with peers, gain new knowledge and recharge themselves for the afternoon!

Objectives

There is a fundamental difference between thriving and surviving.

Surviving means “to continue to live or exist” while Thriving means “to grow or develop well, to prosper or to flourish.”

Ask yourself, "Am I thriving or just moving along surviving?" Be truthful with yourself, you don't have to share your answers with anyone else.

Then ask, how can I move from survive mode to thrive mode?

If Personal Growth is the Necessity of Professional Success, then ISCPA's From Surviving to Thriving is a great opportunity to help you switch modes. Join us monthly to gain a deeper understanding of topics that will further your growth on both a personal and professional level.

Lisa Gonser

I have dedicated my professional career to developing, creating and marketing programs, classes and events. I am skilled at taking an idea and developing it to its completion, often forming and managing multi-disciplinary and volunteer teams to create dynamic work groups. I have outstanding oral and written communication skills, and I’m accomplished at delivering information to groups, both large and small, and in on-air interviews for radio and television. I can work very independently and effectively manage many different projects simultaneously. I thrive in high-energy environments, and enjoy bringing a positive and engaging attitude to my team. Born and raised in Boise, I have years of community relationships and contacts that I use to enhance my marketing and community relations reach in the Treasure Valley and across Southern Idaho.

Specialties: Negotiation, team building, marketing, project management and communications.
