Laura Lantz joins ISCPA after eight years with the Idaho Association of Highway Districts, the past four as associate director.
In her previous role, Laura was a legislative advocate for local highway and transportation issues. She was the liaison for 61 districts throughout the state, advising members on everything from budgets and management to policy. Her other responsibilities included member engagement and training.
Laura has a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and a minor in marketing from the University of Montana. She is on the board of Idaho Society of Association Executives and is an active volunteer in her three sons’ schools.
John Bernasconi is the Division Administrator for Revenue Operations at the Idaho State Tax Commission. He is tasked with ensuring timely processing of all tax returns, payments, and refunds submitted to the Tax Commission.
Randy leads the Audit Division of the Idaho State Tax Commission which is responsible for auditing all tax types administered by the Commission as well as pursuing non-filer and criminal fraud activities. Randy began his career with Idaho as a Sales Tax Auditor in 1982. He left the Commission in 1987 to become the internal auditor for the Idaho Department of Employment. He then moved to the Office of the Governor’s Division of Financial Management where he assisted Idaho’s chief executive in making budget recommendations to the Idaho Legislature. Randy returned to the Tax Commission in 2007 as the Sales and Use Tax Audit Bureau Chief and was promoted to his current position as Division Administrator in 2010. Randy holds a BBA in Accounting Information Systems from Idaho State University and an MBA from Boise State University.
