December 11th - Virtual Day
Session 1 - Bringing Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to the Financial Audit Space (1.5 CPE credits)
Improved computing power & big data have significantly increased the applicability of AI and Machine Learning in the 21st century. It is fair to say that artificial intelligence has impacted most if not all aspects of our economy. In this webinar participants will get an introduction to MindBridge's Ai Auditor and learn firsthand how artificial intelligence and machine learning is disrupting the internal and external audit space. Following the webinar participants will get access to MindBridge's Ai Auditor and can experience for themselves how AI is increasing efficiency and effectiveness throughout the audit process.
Session 2 - Cybersecurity Training: Who, What, When, Where, and Why (1 CPE credit)
There are many controls and safeguards organizations can — and should — put in place to reduce their risk of a cyber-attack. One very vital tool in mitigating that risk is ongoing cybersecurity training. We will address all aspects of training that employees should be trained on with an emphasis on current threats and general information security best practices.
Session 3 -Fighting Back a Hack - How to Respond to Evolving Data Security Laws & Avoid Being a Victim of Infiltration Technology (1 CPE credit)
Most of today’s business and communication takes place online, making it a fertile ground for cyber criminals. Each day we hear reports of how hackers used sophisticated social engineering techniques and other manipulative schemes to dupe human users into allowing them unauthorized access to otherwise "secure" networks. Many of these attacks can be thwarted with security awareness training of employees from multiple disciplines inside a company.
Meanwhile, state and federal governments as well as government regulators have become increasingly more aggressive in protecting consumer privacy - creating a patch work of diverse laws and regulations but no definitive cyber security framework.
Meanwhile, many businesses and consumers remain ignorant of those rules and continue to overlook their potential vulnerability to an insidious cyber scheme.
This course will address the evolving data security rules that could potentially impact not only your practice but your personal privacy, as well. It will then explore how CPA firms can proactively defend their businesses against the inevitable attack and/or scheme to gain unauthorized access to personal data.
