360 Degrees of Financial Literacy
The AICPA and CPA State Societies have joined forces in a national
initiative in support of financial literacy, known as
360 Degrees
of Financial Literacy. This unique approach recognizes that
there are financial challenges in each of our life stages. Each of
the following links has background information, tools (including a
variety of calculators for issues in each life stage), and FAQs:

Childhood: Investing ABCs, teaching your kids about money
basics, stocks, how to manage a summer salary and more

College: Budgeting basics, choosing a college, credit and
debt, going to college as an adult, insurance issues, paying for
college, preparing for college, financial aid and more.

Career: Budgeting basics, career planning, cars and auto
insurance, credit and debt, insurance of all types, financial
planning, retirement planning, saving and investing, social
security, sudden wealth and taxes.

Military & Reserves: Includes information unique to
military status and items to consider when called up for active
duty.

Couples: Budgeting basics, divorce, insurance
considerations, loss of a spouse, unmarried couples, remarriage
issues and more.
