ISCPA CPE Registration Policies
Member Registration Fee
ISCPA members, non-CPA employees of an ISCPA member firm, and members of other
state societies with a reciprocal agreement are eligible for the member price.
All other registrants pay the standard course fee.
Registration
Registration for CPE courses may be made on-line, in writing or by telephone.
Payment must accompany each registration for each course. All registrants must
prepay in full before admittance to any program. Registrations must be received
at least 21 days prior to the program to get the Early Bird registration price.
Late registrants must pay regular registration fees.
Confirmation of Registration
Confirmation notices for each course are emailed or mailed to registrants,
unless registrations are received too late for normal processing. Please read
them carefully for any last-minute changes.
Substitutions, Transfers, Cancellations and No-Shows
Substitutions, transfers and cancellations will not be accepted by phone.
These items must be in writing
and e-mailed to
Gwynne,
faxed to 208.344.8984, or mailed to ISCPA, 250 Bobwhite Court, St 240, Boise,
Idaho 83706.
The following fees apply:
-
Substitutions:
A registrant may substitute another individual up to the first morning of
the course without penalty. The Society must be notified of any
substitutions, either at the registration table the first morning of the
course, or in writing prior to the date of the course. The substitute is
subject to the member/non-member fee policy, and any differences in fees
must be paid at the time of substitution.
-
Transfers:
A registrant may transfer their
registration to another course. Transfers made 3 or more business days before the first day of the course will not be
assessed a fee. Registrants transferring 2 business days or closer to the
start of the course will be assessed a $25 transfer fee. Transfers will not
be accepted on the day of the event.
-
Cancellations: A registrant may cancel a
registration. Cancellations requested more than 5 business days
before the program
date are subject to a $25 cancellation fee. Cancellations requested less
than 5 business days before
the program date are subject to a $60 cancellation fee. Cancellations must
be received before
the day of the course. Registrants may keep their credit balance on file
with the ISCPA to use for future registrations, but the funds must be used
within three years or they will be forfeited.
-
No-Shows:
A registrant who does not attend a program is considered a no-show and
forfeits their entire registration fee. To avoid being a no-show please
follow the transfer/cancellation guidelines
before
the program date.
Verification of Attendance
To receive verification of attendance necessary for CPE credit, participants
must sign the attendance verification "sign-in" list. The list is maintained by
the On-Site Administrator at each course. For most classes, participants will be
required to sign in at the beginning of class and sign out at the end of class
each day; however, a class of two or fewer hours will require only a one-time
sign-in.
If Your Signature is Not on the Sign-in Sheet, The ISCPA is Unable to Verify
Your Attendance to Any State Board Of Accountancy For CPE Credit.
Course Cancellation
The ISCPA Reserves the Right to Cancel Any Course as Deemed Appropriate by
The CPE Committee Chair and/or the Executive Director and/or the CPE Director.
Courses will be cancelled at least seven days in advance of presentation date,
and you will be notified and will get a full refund. Please remember the "seven
days out" rule of thumb when making airline reservations so that you can avoid
cancellation penalties. The ISCPA is not liable for any penalties incurred if
you cancel/change your reservations.
Return Check Charge
Upon the return of a check due to insufficient funds, the ISCPA will charge $20
or 10% of the check, whichever is greater, to cover handling costs.
Miscellaneous
The prices, dates and occasions of the presentations listed in ISCPA CPE
publications are subject to change without notice. The ISCPA reserves the right
to make speaker substitutions at any time without notification to registrants.
