  • Dennis Benvie, MS, CPA

    Dennis Benvie is a managing member of Surgent McCoy CPE, LLC. He has been instructing continuing professional education seminars for 19 years. He incorporates real-life examples and historical perspective to interpret tax concepts. He consistently receives high evaluations for knowledge and presentation skills, and has been recognized as The Outstanding Discussion Leader of the Year, awarded by the state of Indiana.

    Prior to becoming a member partner of Surgent McCoy CPE, LLC, Dennis spent 15 years as a partner with a local Cincinnati CPA firm. He has 27 years of public accounting experience specializing in tax, accounting, and management advisory for closely held businesses and individuals. His background also includes association with a tax attorney's office and instructing accounting classes as adjunct accounting faculty of local state universities.

    Mr. Benvie is a graduate of Miami ( Ohio) University, degree in Accountancy, and has also earned a Masters of Science in Taxation degree from the University of Cincinnati.



    Andy Biebl, CPA

    Andy Biebl is a principal in LarsonAllen LLP in New Ulm, Minnesota. Biebl has authored or been a contributing author for several tax publications for the American Institute of CPAs and Practitioner’s Publishing Company. He has extensive experience with agricultural taxation and has spoken at national agribusiness conferences on farm taxation issues. Biebl authors a monthly tax column in Progressive Farmer, a national farm magazine, and has testified before the U.S. Senate Ag Committee on taxation issues. As part of the LarsonAllen Agribusiness Group, they are involved authoring releases for Farm Tax Network, an email subscription service for accountants covering farm tax developments.




    Michael Blackburn, J.D., CPA

    Michael Blackburn is a shareholder in the Salt Lake City law firm of Blackburn & Stoll, LC where his practice focuses on tax planning, tax litigation, estate planning and general corporate work.

    Mr. Blackburn served as president of the Utah Association of CPAs (“UACPA”) in 1999-2000, after having served as chairman of numerous UACPA committees and as a member of its Board of Directors for nine years. He serves as a current member of the Utah State Board of Accountancy. Mr. Blackburn served for five years as a Member of Counsel of the AICPA and for two years on the joint AICPA/NASBA Task Force on the Uniform Accountancy Act. He was selected as Utah’s Outstanding CPA in 1997 and was awarded the UACPA’s Distinguished Service Award in 2000.

    Mr. Blackburn has also been active in legal activities having served as the Co-Chairman of Utah’s Task Force on Multidisciplinary Practice and as Chairman of the Estate Planning Section of the Utah State Bar. He was elected as a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Council in 1991.

    Mr. Blackburn is a frequent instructor who has taught more than 800 courses spread over more than 180 cities in 45 states during the last 20 years. He is a two-time winner of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Outstanding Instructor Award, and various other teaching awards. He is a part-time faculty member at the University of Utah where he teaches courses on partnership taxation, individual income taxation, tax strategies and tax controversy resolution. Mr. Blackburn has authored two books on estate and financial planning, has drafted several pieces of legislation, and has written numerous published articles and papers on a variety of legal and tax topics.



    Fred Christensen, MBA, CPA

    Fred Christensen is an accounting instructor at Boise State University. He has been a member of the faculty for 25 years teaching introductory, intermediate, governmental accounting and auditing. His most recent experience has been participating in the redesign of the introductory accounting classes. The accounting department received a grant from the National Center for Academic Transformation (NCAT) to partially fund the redesign. This is the first time that NCAT has funded an accounting program redesign.

    Fred is also partner with a local CPA firm in Boise, Idaho, where his responsibilities include audits of affordable housing projects, not-for-profit entities, and employee benefit plans. He has extensive experience in the affordable housing industry.

    Fred enjoys the interaction with fellow professionals that instructing affords him, and acknowledges that through classroom discussion he always learns something new for his own practice. Seminar participants praise his ability to take governmental and not-for-profit accounting and auditing topics and make them interesting.

    Fred currently serves on the Peer Review Committee of the Idaho Society of CPAs. He has also served on the Quality Review Oversight Committee for the Idaho State Board of Accounting. He is a member out of the AICPA. He graduated cum laude from now University of the Utah with a bachelor of science in accounting and also earned his MBA there.



    Dan Chenoweth, MBA

    Dan Chenoweth helps clients take their strategy to the bottom line through rigorous project management and change management techniques, and by engaging and motivating their people. With over 25 years of experience, he has held executive level positions in general management and finance in a number of industries including telecommunications, printing and publishing, heavy equipment manufacturing, and apparel manufacturing. Dan lives in Loveland, Colorado.





    Joann Cross, Ph.D., CPA, CMA, CGFM

    Joann Noe Cross is Professor of Accounting in the College of Business Administration at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. She received her Ph.D. in Accountancy from the University of Illinois – Urbana. Professor Cross led the College of Business Administration’s successful AACSB reaccreditation in 1999 and coordinated the College’s Wisconsin Forward Award application process in 2000.

    Joann is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and numerous other professional and academic organizations. Dr. Cross presents numerous AICPA accounting and auditing seminars around the country, speaks at various conferences throughout the year and maintains an active consulting practice.



    John Daly, MBA, CPA, CMA, CPIM

    John L. Daly is a Chelsea, Michigan based management consultant specializing in costing, pricing strategy and pricing model development. He has taught continuing professional education courses since 1995. Earlier in his career, John was Chief Financial Officer for a Tier 1 automotive parts supplier. He also has been CFO for a large restaurant chain and COO for a window treatments manufacturer and retailing chain. He is the author of Pricing for Profitability published by Wiley & Sons.






    Lynda Dennis, CPA, CGFO

    Lynda Munion Dennis received her under graduate degree in accounting and finance from the University of West Florida and her Masters in Public Administration and her PhD in Public Affairs from the University of Central Florida. She is a Florida CPA as well as a Florida Certified Government Finance Officer. Lynda was recently on the faculty of the Dixon School of Accounting at the University of Central Florida and is currently a discussion leader for the AICPA. Her most recent government experience was as the finance director for the City of Maitland, Florida. Prior to joining the City of Maitland in May 2000, she was the Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer-Special Projects for the City of Orlando.

    Before joining the City of Orlando, Lynda was the Chief Financial Officer for the Central Florida YMCA. Prior to that, she served as the Director of Finance and Administrative Services for the City of Oviedo, Florida for five years. Her experience includes working as an auditor for local and Big 4 firms with an emphasis in the insurance, government and not-for-profit sectors. Lynda also worked as the Special Projects Manager for the Dallas County Community College District and as a grader of CPA exams for the AICPA.

    Lynda currently serves on the CPE Advisory Committee of the AICPA. She was a member of the Work/Life Balance and Women’,s Initiatives Executive Committee of the AICPA from 1997 to 2000 and the CPE Advisory Committee from 2001 to 2005. Lynda worked with the Accounting and Financial Reporting Exam Subcommittee of the AICPA for a number of years as well. Additionally, she is active in the FICPA as a current member and former Chairman of the State and Local Government Section, a member of the Editorial Review Board, and serves on the Accounting Principles and Auditing Standards Committee for the FICPA. She previously served on the FICPA Government Standards Review Committee for two years, the Accounting Careers Committee, and the Not-for-Profit Conference Committee for two years. Lynda has also served on the CPE Committee of the Central Florida Chapter of the FICPA since 1989 and was President of the Chapter 2004 to 2005. She served as the Chairman of the Technical Resources Committee of the FGFOA in 1993/94 as well as in 2001/02 and was Chairman of the Certification Committee in 2000/01 for the Florida Government Finance Officers Association.

    In recent years Lynda has updated the AICPA State and Local Government Accounting and Audit Guide as well as the AICPA Checklists and Illustrative Financial Statements: State and Local Governments.



    Eugene Ferraro, CPP, CFE, PCI, SPHR

     Eugene Ferraro has been a corporate investigator for more than 24 years. A specialist in investigating employee dishonesty, substance abuse and criminal activity in the workplace, he has conducted thousands of investigations for employers throughout the United States. He also is a published author and speaks frequently on the topics of workplace investigations and crime in the workplace.

    Ferraro is a former military pilot, intelligence officer and a graduate of the Naval Justice School. He is a frequent book critic for Security Management and authored Undercover Investigations in the Workplace, which is currently used as a textbook by universities and law enforcement agencies across the country. He has just completed his eighth book, Investigations in the Workplace.

    Ferraro is board certified in Security Management (CPP designation) by ASIS International (formerly the American Society of Industrial Security) and has served as the chairman of its Workplace Substance Abuse Council. He is currently the program advisor for its Asset Protection Course II. He is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and faculty member. He holds a Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) designation and is a member of the National Council of Investigation and Security Services (NCISS).

    Ferraro holds a bachelor of science degree from the Florida Institute of Technology.




    Will Fleenor, CPA, CITP, Ph.D.

    Will is currently a Shareholder of K2E, LLC. Will has conducted seminars for 48 State CPA Societies, and has spoken at numerous accounting technology conferences, including speaking at the AICPA Information Technology Conference for 22 years, as well as doing training for other organizations such as the FBI. Will is a past Chairman of the AICPA Information Technology Conference, as well as past chairman of other conferences and professional committees. Will is a co-author of the Practitioners Publishing Company's "Guide to Installing Microcomputer Accounting Systems" and has had numerous articles published in professional journals including the Journal of Accountancy, the CPA Journal, and others.

    Patrick Garverick, CPA

    The author of Garverick CPE training courses material is J. Patrick "Pat" Garverick (of J. Patrick Garverick, PLC). Pat began his career in public accounting in 1988 after obtaining his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) in Accounting from The Ohio State University.

    After receiving his Master of Taxation (MT) degree from Arizona State University in 1992, Pat began his own tax and financial planning business as well as writing, reviewing and teaching tax and financial planning CPE training courses around the country.     Gary Hotchkiss, CPA

    Gary is Proprietor of the RealisticApproach series of seminars for CPAs, has been active in the area of continuing professional education for professional accountants for more than twenty years. Gary’s professional career has included public accounting from staff to partner level in firms ranging from small to international practices, controller and chief financial officer for entities in industry, broadcasting, as well as being manager of the examinations division of the American Institute of CPAs. Gary’s experience also includes three years as a member of the Auditing Standards Board of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Gary also served as the senior technical reviewer for the Texas Society of CPAs for peer reviews conducted in that state. On several occasions, Gary has been named discussion leader of the year by both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and various state societies of CPAs.     Vern Hoven, CPA

    Vern Hoven’s dynamic presentations, books and articles combine the real-life experience of a practicing CPA and a licensed real estate broker with essential down-to-earth tax materials. He is the author of e Real Estate Investor’s Tax Guide: What Every Investor Needs to Know to Maximize Profits and Real Estate and Taxes!     Vern is a nationally recognized tax lecturer (averaging 100 days a year for CPAs, tax practitioners and REALTORS® throughout the United States ) and has a Master’s Degree in Taxation from the University of Denver's School of Law (1985). Vern’s hallmark teaching style blends key information with a strong dose of humor and a high-tech presentation. Numerous state CPA Societies have named Vern their “Tax Instructor of the Year” and, during tax season, he is a favorite for interviews on radio (a regular on Real Estate Today), on television, and in newspapers. Additionally, Vern’s speaking skills earned him the coveted Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation from the National Speakers Association (one of 430 CSPs out of 3,730 NSA members as of 2006").

    Vern has served on many national boards, including the National Association of REALTORS® Legislative Committee and the Federal Tax Subcommittee. He also served for two years as National Secretary and three years as National Director-at-Large for the National Real Estate Educators Association.



    Wendy Kravit, CPA, MBA

    Wendy Kravit, CPA, MBA started her career working for the Internal Revenue Service as a Revenue Agent. After spending a few years with the government, she left the Service and joined the faculty of Northern Illinois University where she taught federal taxation in both the undergraduate and graduate programs for 12 years. She also operated a sole proprietorship in Northern Illinois where she specialized in tax and representation before the IRS. She sold her practice in Illinois and moved to Maryland in 2004 where she continues to teach and consult.

    Ms. Kravit had been an active member of the Illinois CPA Society where she served on the Tax Executive Committee for many years. She was a steady member of the task force and occasionally the Chairman for the Annual Illinois CPA Society Federal Tax Conference. She has reviewed textbooks for publishers and she has written tax articles for various publications including the Tax Advisor.

    Currently, Ms. Kravit is a member of the AICPA’s IRS Practice and Procedures Committee. Wendy is author of several continuing education tax courses for the AICPA.



    Rebecca Lee, CPA

    Rebecca Lee was a principal organizer of Brooke, Freeman & Lee, Birmingham, Alabama, in 1982. As the Firm's audit partner, she is responsible for the Firm's audit practice and serves as a quality control reviewer for other firms.

    She has served on numerous AICPA and state society committees including the AICPA Management Consulting Service Professional Practice Subcommittee and Small Business Consulting Practices Subcommittee and is a past member of the Institute's MAS Executive Committee and Personal Financial Planning Executive Committee. She has chaired both the Management Advisory Committee and the Personal Financial Planning Committee of the Alabama Society of CPAs. She currently serves on the South Carolina Association of CPAs' Continuing Professional Education Committee.

    She holds a BS degree in Accounting from Jacksonville State University along with a Masters Degree in Accounting from Birmingham Southern College.

    Ms. Lee is a discussion leader for all staff level audit training programs as well as, other technical courses. She is a frequent speaker at CPA conferences, and has lectured extensively in the area of management advisory services at professional meetings and seminars for state societies and the American Institute of CPAs. Ms. Lee has served as professor of management accounting in the graduate studies (Master in Public and Private Management) program at Birmingham-Southern College.

    She is a member of the Alabama Society of CPAs, the South Carolina Association of CPAs and the AICPA.



    Laura Lindal, CPA

    Laura has over twenty years of experience in auditing, including audits performed in accordance with OMB Circular A-133, HUD Consolidated Audit Guide and Government Auditing Standards. She has spent those twenty years understanding and documenting client’s internal control, assessing risk (often below maximum) and designing audit plans and procedures tailored to the client’s internal control and the assessed risks. Laura has experience in a variety of industries, not limited to not-for-profit organizations, affordable housing, real estate development and property management, construction, mortgage banking, manufacturing, and professional service industries. Laura has complemented her skills by performing peer reviews as well as consulting with firms regarding performance and documentation of their attest engagements.

    PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
    Laura is the chairperson of the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants’ Auditing and Accounting Review Services Committee. She also is an instructor for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Laura is a licensed certified public accountant in the states of California, Washington and Alaska.



    James Myers, CPA

    Jim Myers is a CPA with over 35 years experience working in CPA firms (Big 8 to small firms), as a CPA firm partner for 15 years, as a corporate controller, senior vice president and Accounting Department Director for a bank, financial director for a non-profit organization, and bank internal auditor.

    Myers is a member of the AICPA, the Tennessee Society of CPAs (TSCPA) and several other local and regional organizations. He currently serves as an at-large member of the Board of TSCPA, and has also served as Chairman of the Professional Ethics and the Technology committees and is a past state officer. He has been a speaker for continuing education courses for the AICPA, the TSCPA, Georgia Society of CPAs, North Carolina Association of CPAs, and the Tennessee Association of Public Accountants. He co-authored the TSCPA ethics training course for Tennessee CPAs.

    Myers is a graduate of Carson-Newman College and is a member of the college’s alumni board. He is also a board member for Teen Center of Knoxville, Inc.



    Lynn Nichols, CPA

    E. Lynn Nichols, a practicing CPA for thirty-eight years, is a tax consultant and the founder of Nichols CPE, Inc., a developer of continuing education programs for CPAs. He is a regular contributor to Bisk Education’s CPE Network, co-moderator of the Taxation Discussion Groups for accountantsworld.com, a volunteer member of the Tax Division of the AICPA, and past Chair of the Board of Visitors of the School of Accounting in the College of Business of the University of Oklahoma. He is the 2005 recipient of The Ohio Society of CPAs’ Gold Medal for service to the accounting profession.

    Lynn serves as an advisor to CPA firms across the U.S. on matters of federal income taxation, tax practice quality control, and IRS procedures. He has developed an intimate knowledge of tax law and regulation of tax practice which he shares with CPAs in clear, dynamic CPE presentations.




    Ron Rael, CPA

    Ron Rael is an award-winning speaker and facilitator who uses advanced learning techniques to deliver measurable, bottom-line results. His custom-fit training systems; along with his effective and fun skill-building approaches enhance the performance and effectiveness of all employees.

    A CPA as well as an experienced executive and manager, Ron facilitated and mentored accounting teams in several of the northwest's leading companies. As both a Controller and CFO, Ron designed and installed systems for budgeting, reporting, costing and human resource functions. Ron is also a published author, one book on customer service culture and his second titled: "13½ Strategies for Winning the Budget Wars." His latest book on how leaders can build a culture of integrity and ethical behaviors was published in 2004.




    Dennis R. Reinstein, CPA/ABV, ASA, CVA

    Dennis is a partner with Hooper Cornell with over 36 years of experience in accounting, auditing, business valuation and taxation. He has extensive experience in assisting clients with business performance and ownership succession, and has valued hundreds of closely-held businesses in many industries for purposes of estate, gift, dispute resolution, sales and mergers. Dennis holds degrees in Agribusiness and Accounting from the University of Idaho. His previous experience as a loan officer for the Farmer's Home Administration included conducting residential real estate and farm appraisals.

    Dennis has extensive experience in litigated matters. In addition to being engaged as an expert by both Plaintiff’s and by Defendant’s he has also been engaged by local courts as an independent expert representing the court and has also been jointly engaged by local law firms representing opposing clients to help resolve disputes between their clients to avoid litigation.




    Dennis Riley, CPA, MBA

    Dennis Riley specializes in the tax and business needs of individuals, families and entrepreneurial small businesses. He has more than 25 years of experience in accounting, consulting, tax preparation, and government representation. The AICPA’s CPA Vision project identified him as an early adopter of new technology and new integrations of accounting and consulting information.

    Dennis’s experience includes a range of services including negotiations with federal and state government tax authorities, offers in compromise, closing agreements, strategic business plans, litigation support, record reconstruction, business formation and dissolution, problem solving and tax preparation. He has resolved multiple-year filing issues, organization issues and business transition problems. He is a frequent lecturer on topics related to taxation and closely held businesses.




    Ron Roberson, CPA

    Ron Roberson is a very popular speaker covering individual and business tax topics across the country. For several years, Ron has taught thousands of tax professionals about the latest tax law changes, tax planning opportunities, and tax problem areas. Ron’s energetic, easy to understand and humorous presentation style has made him a crowd favorite.

    Ron began his accounting career in the early 1980s with the international accounting firm Deloitte Haskins and Sells. Since 1986, he has owned a CPA firm located in the rural California community of Twain Harte, near Yosemite National Park. Ron is a very active CPA, and draws extensively from his practice to provide practical, real-world examples and solutions for seminar attendees, making complex tax topics easily understandable.

    Ron is also a prolific author. He has written and edited numerous tax training manuals for a national CPE provider. His articles focus on such hot topics as business entity selection, taxation of corporations, partnerships and LLCs, and individual income taxation. Ron is also a regular guest on an internet radio broadcast dedication to issues of taxation.



    Chris Rouse, CPA

    Chris Rouse is an audit partner and the Firm Audit and Accounting Quality Control Partner at Windham Brannon, P.C., an Atlanta, GA CPA firm. He is a 1965 graduate of Florida State University, and has practiced since then with Big-8 and large local firms. He has served primarily audit clients in his career, including clients in the financial services industry, real-estate, manufacturing and distribution companies, service businesses, and not-for-profit entities. His service as Firm-wide A&A Partner includes helping his partners deal with new and difficult audit and accounting issues. He has served as team captain on many peer reviews, from top-100 firms to sole practitioners. He also provides litigation support, primarily in accountant’s malpractice cases.

    Chris recently finished service on the AICPA Technical Issues Committee (Auditing), and has served on the AICPA Peer Review Committee and the Technical Standards Committee (Ethics). He is currently Chair of the Georgia Society of CPA’s Assurance Services Section, has chaired and served for many years on the GSCPA Peer Review Committee, and currently serves on a Peer Review Report Acceptance Body. Chris recently finished a three year service on the US Department of Labor ERISA Advisory Council, and chaired Working Groups of the Council in 2007 and 2005.

    Throughout his career, Chris has instructed numerous audit and accounting training courses, and is a GSCPA Outstanding Discussion Leader. He is a frequent speaker on audit and accounting matters at state and national seminars.



    Martin Scheckner, CPA/PFS, CTRS, CFE, CFP, CVA

    Marty started his own firm in 1976. His firm, Scheckner & Hetenyi, PL, is of counsel to Berenfeld Spritzer Shechter and Sheer, a large local Miami firm. He is also a CPA, Certified Tax Resolution Specialist, Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Valuation Analyst, and a Certified Financial Planner.

    Before opening his own business, Marty worked for several national CPA firms. Prior to that, he was an Internal Revenue Agent for five years in the Chicago and Miami offices of the IRS. During his tenure with the IRS, he was heavily involved in the IRS strike force project.

    Marty has over 35 years of diverse tax experience including all aspects of taxation and IRS procedural matters. He is a frequent speaker to business groups and serves as a discussion leader for the Florida Institute of CPAs (FICPA) for Ethics. Marty is a past president of the Greater Miami Tax Institute as well as a past director of the South Florida Chapter of the International Association for Financial Planning. He has been named as an outstanding discussion leader by the FICPA on a number of occasions as well as a Top CPA in Litigation Support by the South Florida Legal Guide.




    Rick Smith

    Rick practices primarily in the areas of business, commercial and tax litigation, and general business representation. He has been involved as trial counsel for various corporate and utility clients in tax cases litigated in federal and state courts or administrative agencies in various tax-related cases before the IRS and in Idaho, California, Oregon, Nevada, Washington, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, Minnesota, Missouri, Iowa, and Illinois, representing companies such as railroads, utilities, telecommunications companies, and companies in the lumber products and semiconductor industries. Some of these matters involved short multiple-day hearings, whereas others lasted weeks, the longest consuming 47 trial days.

    In addition, as chair of the firm's tax group, Rick is engaged in a broad tax planning practice, assisting clients in structuring transactions and business relationships and in dealing with tax issues that arise in the course of business. Mr. Smith has also handled cases involving a wide variety of business and commercial litigation at the federal, state, administrative and ADR level, including insurance company regulation, securities law, antitrust, contract and real estate litigation, and general business and corporate disputes.




    Susan Smith, CPA

    Susan Smith, CPA, manages her own firm specializing in tax planning for individuals and business owners. Smith spent 14 years as a Senior Manager in the tax departments of Price Waterhouse and Peat Marwick (the predecessor of KPMG). While at Price Waterhouse, she also held the national specialist designation for the real estate and partnership specialized practice units. While at Peat Marwick, Smith lead the real estate and tax practices locally.

    Smith is a frequent speaker at tax conferences and has been an associate adjunct professor at Widener University in the master’s in taxation program. Her ratings have consistently exceeded 4.5 on a scale of 5.0. Also, she recently received the James L. McCoy 2008 Discussion Leader of the Year Award for excellence in teaching. With regard to her education, she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with an accounting concentration, in 1978.




    James Woy, CPA

    James is an audit partner with Anderson ZurMuehlen & Co., P.C. and has over 29 years of public accounting experience. His expertise areas include nonprofit tax and auditing, pension plan audits and construction.

    He is Past President of the Montana Society of CPAs, serves as a technical reviewer for the MSCPA Peer Review Committee. He has served as a member of the AICPA’s Technical Issues Committee.

    James is an adjunct instructor at Montana Tech of the University of Montana. He also performs several Peer Reviews annually and is a technical reviewer for the Montana Society Peer Review Committee.





    Edward Zollars, CPA

    Ed Zollars is in public practice in Phoenix, Arizona as a partner with the firm of Thomas, Zollars & Lynch, Ltd.  He has been in practice for over twenty years, specializing in tax issues for closely held businesses and individuals.

    Ed has been professionally involved with both tax and technology issues, combing the two disciplines in starting the first tax podcast (Ed Zollars Tax Update, produced weekly dealing with current tax issues.  He has been a member of AICPA Tax Division Committees dealing with tax and technology issues, and was the Tax Section’s representative on three occasions to the AICPA’s Top Ten Technologies project.  Ed is also a member of the Phoenix Tax Workshop’s Advisory Committee, and currently serves on the Tax Legislation Liaison Committee for the Arizona Society of CPAs.

    Ed is a co-author of the Arizona Income Tax Guide published by the Phoenix Tax Workshop, and has written articles published in Practical Tax Strategies and the Tax Adviser. He has been a frequent contributor to a number of professional tax discussion groups, and served as systems operator on the AICPA’s Accountants Forum in the mid 1990s.
