The Accounting Continuing Professional Education Network (ACPEN) CPE network, sponsored by the
ISCPA and several other State Societies, is dedicated to bringing, highly relevant, interactive,
world-class CPE to every CPA in the most convenient and economical ways possible. Courses will be available in
two great formats for maximum flexibility by accounting professionals who want to meet their CPE needs and requirements
in the most convenient way!
The primary date will be available as both live satellite and webcast events running from 8:00am to 4:00pm MST.
There is a lunch break at 11:30am. Each of the ACPEN broadcasts provides 8 CPE credits.
A Replay is a webcast only (viewed via your
computer), with faculty members standing by, in real time, to answer
questions from webcast viewers. Replays are a great opportunity for anyone who
was NOT able to make the original offering date. Replays qualify for
the same CPE credits as the original airing of the seminar per NASBA Statement
on Standards for CPE Programs, Section 400.07. You may only receive credit for
one viewing of the seminars. Please do not try to take the same seminar more than
once for CPE credit in any single year as you will not be granted credit twice.

Here's the Scoop on Webcasts!
8-hour Courses: All ACPEN 8-hour Satellite
courses are also available via webcasts for a tuition of $230.00 by the early registration deadline - $280 thereafter.
2 & 3 hour Courses: All ACPEN 2 & 3-hour
courses are available ONLY via webcasts for a tuition of $59 and $70
respectfully.
Technology Requirements: Those who have an
internet connection of 56k or higher, broadband or T-1 connection may access the
program, the greater the speed of the connection the better the video picture
quality. The registration process of the ASP guides the student through the
testing process to ensure compatibility.
Written Materials: Students are able to
receive the written materials by downloading them from LegalSpan’s website, in
advance of the program. They are also available to be sent to the student in
book form, if they prefer.
CPE Credit Status: You, the viewer, as part
of a live, interactive group study, receives credit for participation at 50
minutes per CPE credit hour. No testing during the program is provided since it
is a live, group study. (see Attendance Verification, below). The Business
Professionals Network (BPN) is registered as a sponsor with the National
Association of State Boards of Accountancy for its live webcasts.
Interactivity: Participating students may
ask questions during the program in three ways. They may telephone or fax
questions to the numbers provided on the screen, or they may email questions to
the address provided on screen. These questions will be responded to by the live
faculty, during the course.
Attendance Verification: During the
broadcast, at random times during each quarter of the broadcast, part of a
simple code will be broadcast that the viewer must recognize and note. At the
end of the program, the webcast viewer is instructed to enter this four-part
code by the ASP. Only those viewers who submit all four parts of the code
receive full CPE credit. Viewers who submit partial codes receive a certificate
granting appropriate partial credit in two-hour increments, for each part of the
code submitted.
CPE Credit Certificate: Business Professionals' Network, Inc., the webcast
sponsor, provides a certificate documenting either full credit or some lesser
amount, based on the Attendance Verification Code provided by the student at the
end of the program. This will be sent as an email. Business Professionals'
Network, Inc. is an accredited member of the NASBA National Registry of CPE
Sponsors.
Technology Help Line: An email sent
confirming registration is sent to each student in advance with technical
requirements and providing a help line contact to assist with difficulties that
may occur during the set for the program or, if difficulties are encountered
during the program itself.
Course Evaluation: Each student receives an
evaluation of the program that they can complete and submit, on line, following
the program.
Post Course Study: Each student who attends
the program may access the event a second time, archived on the internet, during
the thirty days following the program at no additional charge. No CPE credit
will be awarded for this event, since it is not live.
Shorter Webcasts
ACPEN is pleased to present a series of
shorter, 2 - 3 hour webcasts that spin off of the 8-hour satellite courses.
These 2 and 3 hour courses are $59 and $70 each respectively and will only be
available via webcasts.
Information as to schedules will be posted soon.
